Do I need a prescription to order? +

No prescription is required for non-prescription eyewear. You can order clear lenses, blue-light blocking, tinted, or polarised options directly. If you have an active prescription, you can input the values at checkout. Our optical team reviews every single order manually before production begins.

What is Pupillary Distance (PD) — and do I need it? +

You do not need your PD to place your order. Simply submit your purchase and our team will coordinate the details with you if required.

PD (Pupillary Distance) measures the precise distance in millimetres between your pupils, ensuring the optical centre of each lens aligns perfectly with your gaze. It is simple to acquire:

How long does laboratory crafting and delivery take? +

Our optical technicians require two to four business days to craft, align, and review your prescription lenses. Shipping speeds depend on destination, bringing total delivery times to approximately eight to ten business days. You will receive a direct tracking link by email the moment your order departs our lab.

How do progressive lenses work — is it complicated? +

Not at all. If your optical prescription contains an ADD value (typically in the final column — e.g. ADD +2.00), you require a progressive lens. We offer four specialised parameters:

• Standard — Balanced, everyday parameters optimised for general use. Included.
• Deluxe (+22.95 £) — Expanded peripheral corridors, optimised for driving and active mobility.
• Mid-Range (+22.95 £) — Broadened intermediate focal zones, optimised for multi-screen desktop workspaces.
• Near-Range (+22.95 £) — Maximised text reading depth, optimised for intensive screen work.

If you are a first-time progressive wearer, a subtle three to seven day transition and adjustment period is completely normal.

What if my lenses do not feel comfortable? +

We guarantee your complete visual comfort on every pair, without fail:

• Damaged or defective on arrival → We ship a full replacement, with no return required.
• Prescription correction → Our opticians will review, realign, and remake your lenses.
• Order parameter adjustment → We will re-execute the pair with updated parameters for a nominal fee.

A standard progressive pair at traditional opticians averages 350–600 £. The raw materials and frames rarely cost more than 30 £ to produce; the remainder represents storefront inflation. We simply opted out of that inflation.
